Stephen Nadji

Stephen Nadji, 96, of Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA formerly of 232 E. Allegany Ave., died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Thursday afternoon (December 31, 2020) following a lengthy illness. He was born May 19, 1924 in Sykesville, PA a son of the late Ignatz and Katie Soich Nadji. On September 6, 1952 in St. Mark Catholic Church he married the late Mary Louise Fye.

Steve retired from Sylvania where he had worked for many years. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, VFW, and the Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge #368, Emporium.

Steve is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Lilley and a son Stephen P. Nadji, both of Emporium; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Steve was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Nadji; a brother, John Nadji; four sisters: Mary Serement, Anna Coffman, Agnes Bailey and Helen Norris.

There will be no Visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Monday, (January 4, 2021) at 8:15 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA with a Military Service accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department, 419 N. Broad St., Emporium, PA 15834 or to the Cameron County Ambulance Service, 299 E. Second St., Emporium, PA 15834
