Steven A. Buck

Steven A. Buck, 72, of Ridgway, PA passed away at his residence, Ridgway, PA on Thursday, November 9, 2023 morning following a lengthy illness. He was born September 26, 1951 in Ridgway, PA a son of Alice Marie "Allie" Lindgren Buck, Ridgway and the late Teddy Buck. On April 16, 1982 in St. Leo Catholic Church he married Marjorie A. Kennedy, who survives.

Steve graduated from Ridgway Area High School in 1969 and served with the US Army from 1971 through 1973. He worked for the B & O Railroad several years, Allegany Color over 22 years and at the age of 56 he graduated from Pitt at Bradford with an associate degree in nursing. He worked for 11 years at Warren State Hospital before retiring. After retirement he was a bus driver for Ridgway School District. Steve enjoyed golfing and fishing and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother and wife he is survived by a daughter, Catherine Brigger (Andy), Ridgway; son, Thomas Buck (Christa), Ridgway; daughter, Suzanne Wolfe (Jesse), Ridgway; five grandchildren: Luchi and Mario Manno, Olivia, Neil and Teddy Buck; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Teddy Buck and a sister, Bonnie at birth.

Family and friends will be received at St. Leo Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Fr. Justin Pino, Pastor as celebrant.

Military honors will be accorded by Ridgway, Johnsonburg, Wilcox Burial detail

Burial will be in the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Ridgway, PA
