Valerie Marshall

Valerie L. Marshall, 63, of 317 E. Allegany Ave., Emporium, PA died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Saturday afternoon (August 8, 2020). She was born on April 17, 1957 in St. Marys, PA the daughter of Jacqueline Hart Marshall, Emporium, PA and the late James Marshall who passed away in 1980.

Valerie graduated from Cameron County High School. She attended Warren VoTech where she received her LPN degree. She then graduated from Frostburg State University and later from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia where she received a masters degree in Social Work. She had worked many years in Chester County at the Office of Aging as a case manager. Valerie was lifelong member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. She was accomplished at machine embroidering.

In addition to her mother she is survived by two uncles, Harlan Hart, Delevan, NY and George "Jud" (Kitty) Hart, Emporium; as well as many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Hart; paternal grandparents, Charles and Genevieve Marshall.

There will be No Visitation. (Due to COVID-19 the service will be limited to 25 people). A Burial Service will be held at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 144 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Sunday (August 23, 2020) at 11:00 AM with Father Matthew Ryan, Rector, officiating. Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA.
