Video Tribute

A video tribute contains family photographs and music put together to honor a life of a loved one. We have equipped our funeral home to play the video tribute on a large television at the time of visitation. A video tribute is printed to a DVD and preserves memories for a long time to come. Reaction received from families utilizing this service suggests that the video tribute will be considered a family treasure.

Tribute Instructions

  1. Collect pictures: A Video Tribute is assembled using a range of 25-35 pictures, which span the life of your loved one. The first step is to collect the pictures you wish to use for the Video Tribute. *If you have electronic photos we can use them. Please remove photographs from frames and albums. Photos larger than 8 inches x 12 inches will be cropped.

  2. Put pictures into order: The second step is to put these pictures into a logical order. Many families prefer a chronological order, but we will be glad to assemble the video in any order you desire. Number the back of each picture, and we will assemble the video in that order. Deliver the photos in a plastic gallon bag.

  3. Musical Selections: We have an appropriate list of music from which to choose, or you can provide your own music in CD. Please select a primary song and perhaps a supplemental song to complete the soundtrack if needed.

  4. Additional Copies: Many families have requested additional copies of the tape for other family members and friends. We can produce additional videos for a nominal fee, but we ask that you submit your request for additional DVD’s within two weeks of receiving your first one. We will not archive videos past two weeks.
